Just Because A Pro Uses It (Or Says They Do) Doesn’t Mean It Works (Or They Actually Use It)

Since 2018 when the World Antidoping Agency removed CBD from its prohibited list, some of the biggest names in professional golf have adopted using it on a regular basis.  While the PGA Tour agreed that CBD would no longer be prohibited, they also warned players about potential hazards.  In a letter to their membership in April of 2019, the Tour cautioned the Players to carefully choose what they were using:  “The FDA, DEA, and private organizations including MLB have conducted tests on CBD and “THC-free” products only to find significant levels of psychoactive (and prohibited) THC or falsely labeled amounts of CBD.”  In 2020, it was estimated that at least 20 Tour Pros were using CBD.  Among them were: Bubba Watson for improved sleep and faster recovery.  Scott McCarron for improved sleep and to decrease anxiety.  Lucas Glover for nagging aches and pains, and anti-anxiety. While there are a variety of companies using celebrity names to promote their CBD-related products (some with knowledge and some without), there still is a lack in regulation and standardization in the industry which isn’t just wrong and misleading but can become dangerous as you really don’t know what is in these products.  Among the many fraudulent claims, are companies promoting Phil Mickelson gummies, and assumptions that Phil and Tiger are using CBD gum. In fact, in a recent study by the Consumer Brands Association, on a scale of 1-10, consumer’s knowledge of CBD is at just a 3.3. This is made worse when 74% incorrectly assume that CBD is federally regulated or have no idea if it is. Fortunately, there are products on the market such as Pin High CBD that have committed a significant amount of research in the creation and development of its products. All Pin High CBD products feature Isolate (pure) CBD, CBG, CBC, and CBN  which means it has ZERO THC in it. The products also exclude other plant compounds that have undergone minimal research. In comparison, other CBD companies use full or broad-spectrum CBD,  reasoning that the presence of entire plant compounds increases the effectiveness of the major components. In reality, though, there is no scientific evidence that this proposed “Entourage Effect” exists.  It is, however, less expensive to produce full or broad-spectrum products! At www.PinHighCBD.com we will sell only high-quality hemp products at high mg concentrations, and only as a tincture or topical.   This will help ensure that you have the highest chance of experiencing a beneficial effect.  It is all about BIOAVAILABLITY. For the Pro’s that are using CBD as a sleep aid, we believe they should switch to our CBN. Consumers deserve to feel safe when buying CBD- related products. Unfortunately, as of today, the market is filled with uncertainty that should prompt more than just concern — it must prompt and create action, and self-education.
